A north west tractor pulling community for enthusiasts of all ages
The North West Tractor Pullers Club (NWTPC) runs Tractor Pulling events sanctioned by the BTPA, mainly at purpose built track at Great Eccleston, near Blackpool.
The NWTPC was formed back in 1978, making us the largest and longest-running tractor pulling club in the UK. We were formed as an affiliated club of the then-newly-formed British Tractor Pullers Association (BTPA), following the first tractor pulling events in England & Europe in 1977. The BTPA became a member of the European Tractor Pulling Committee (ETPC) which governs the sport in Europe, making rules and sanctioning European events.
In 2009 the NWTPC became a Limited Company by Guarantee. The main role of the Club is to promote the sport of tractor pulling in north west England: by staging events, we raise funds which are used further the sport in our area, and to encourage newcomers to the sport. The club is a non-profit making organisation, run solely by volunteers.
Voting Member Option
You will notice on the form an option for voting at £1. This allows you to have your input at club meetings and the AGM to forward proposals and initiatives for the club. If you want to have your say or get more involved in the world of tractor pulling in the north west, be sure to add this to your membership fee.
The single adult and child fees have remained the same but there is an increase in the family membership to £20. The family membership package is still excellent value with up to 2 children being members effectively FOC.
We plan to distribute more general tractor pulling information on a regular basis to the members this season. The best medium for this is via email, so if you have an address please add it to the form so we can keep in touch with you.
